ADHD coaching can help you improve your executive functioning skills. In turn, this will enable you to move forward and achieve your ambitions. These skills help you get things done and manage your life more efficiently. Executive function skills include planning, prioritizing, organizing, goal setting, time management, focusing, self-inhibition, emotion regulation, task initiation, meta-cognition, flexibility/shift and working memory.
Through coaching we will find ways to help you improve your skills. You will learn how to get organized, to prioritize your work and tasks, develop methods to help you concentrate, handle things when they don’t go according to plan, implement systems to keep you on track and utilize methods to circumvent memory glitches.
This means you can improve your life. It will take a little work, but it is possible. When I learned I had ADHD it explained so much of the difficulties I had struggled with for years. And it also gave me opportunity because substantial research and knowledge about ADHD is now available. Within that knowledge and research is the fact that coaching makes a positive difference in the lives of people with ADHD.
I work with clients through Skype, the phone and in person for those located near Washington DC.
