A coach for coaches...
I am a Clinical Psychologist who has the good fortune of working with Dr. Virginia Hurley while I pursue my own ADHD coaching certification. I was introduced to Virginia by Dr. Charles Parker, author of, “The New ADHD Medication Rules" who accurately describes Virginia as "a gem". I know Dr. Hurley to be a fantastic ADHD coach to her clients as well as a tremendous asset to the ADHD professional community. Creative, holistic approach Warm and smart She helps me fill in the blanks Empowers me Ignites my sense of agency Acts as my frontal lobe She walks next to me on my journey She walks with me Notices my capabilities She is smart and interesting She is warm and caring She is flexible She is forgiving and understanding, especially with my scheduling collisions! She is a generous listener who is there 100% She is unconditionally supportive She has a wonderful sense of humor and is knowledgeable about the most cutting edge information about ADHD and ADHD coaching Her book, Time Savor Coaching, is brilliant! Designed for the ADHD reader to open up the book to any page and be engaged. Dr. Virginia Hurley is my coach, but she feels like a true friend.

Excellent Coach
Dr. Virginia is my ADHD coach and I have had the pleasure of working through my professional work issues with her. She has accommodated my faith and personal beliefs to help me improve my ability to get my work done. Her advice is personalized and she really listens. She has a knack for drawing out what the real bottleneck is and providing a practical solution that I can use.

Colleague
I am a pediatrician who is committed to continue my life work as an ADHD coach. That decision was firmly reinforced at my attendance of the national meeting of the ADHD Coaches Organization in Atlanta, this past April. At this meeting, Virginia Hurley immediately recognized my initial awkwardness and tentativeness and made me feel welcome. During group sessions and celebrations, she sought me out, and made me feel relaxed and accepted. She explained much about ACO and its history. Her warm personality, down-to-earthness, and humor were immediately apparent and attracted me to her as a friend. Now, working under her chairmanship in the ACO Research committee, I have seen her professional side. She competently organizes our meetings, shares resources, encourages, networks. and moves us along. Without being pushy, she keeps us grounded and on task. Virginia has impressive experience and has published, and could just stand on her publications and reputation - but that is not her style. She has a great sense of humor, and can also roll with the punches. Life happens, and we must get on with it. She is a highly efficient professional who may present herself modestly, but who has high professional talents and communicates clearly, empathically, and wisely. She is the kind of coach I would want to have.
