Dunn School

Since 1973, Dunn has provided learning support for bright, college-bound students who learn differently. Students in Dunn's learning support program are completely integrated into its rigorous, college-prep program. Students supplement their academic classes with individual or small-group meetings with a learning specialist. Dunn's program focuses on learning strategies, organization, study skills, time management, and self-advocacy. The results speak for themselves: fully one hundred percent of Dunn seniors are admitted to four-year universities.

Dunn also offers a residential summer camp (July 19 - August 15, 2014) for students entering 8th, 9th or 10th grade. The program is a special opportunity for students to identify their own learning profile, develop strategies for time management, organization and effective studying, grow in self-awareness, confidence and optimism, receive academic coaching in selected courses including algebra, reading and writing, and practice strategies for school success.
