Jonathan French ADHD Coaching
I coach individuals wanting to understand, manage, and thrive with ADHD. I help my clients create systems and lifestyles that work with their brains, not against them.
About this provider
ADHD can create real barriers for you in your career and home life. It can also be an asset for many people who can leverage their unique ways of thinking. Many people with ADHD are highly creative, intuitive, out-of-the-box problem solvers who thrive in the right circumstances and struggle in the wrong ones.
You likely have some things that you are really good at (you do), and these are often offset by barriers that make it hard to leverage our strengths. I help people to identify what they need to succeed by working with their unique ways of doing things. Developing systems, routines, and tools that are ADHD-friendly can help you manage things in a way that lets you be authentic and focus on your ‘zone of genius’. I am here to offer unconditional, continuous support in creating the change you want to see and achieving the goals you have.

Great External Validation and Coaching
I manage or mask my ADHD better than most. However, as an adult diagnosed with ADHD back in my forties, aside from medication and some cognitive behaviour therapies, I've not done much to review and see if I can still optimize my behaviours. Jonathan offered advice to me that worked and helped move me forward. He helped me realize that yes, scaffolding is great, but as ADHD person you can task switch and do another thing that might be better match to my mood and energy. A small step is still a step forward, and to practise self partnership as an internal cheerleader when the negative, critical voices speak up. Easy to speak to, understanding, and patient. Would see him again.
Grateful for Mr. French!
Jon always helps me find tangible approaches to my goals; be they in day-to-day activities, my career, or any other forms of personal development. He’s an attentive and patient listener who never fails to engage with my ideas earnestly and has a knack for building upon them and/or offering a totally fresh perspective therein. If you could use a hand in sorting out any part of your life that feels overly complicated, then I highly recommend working with Jon!
Hugely supportive
My discovery of Jon's coaching service levelled up my approach to my graduate studies and life more generally. After working with Jon I found more joy and pleasure in the day-to-day since I could better appreciate how ADHD is a strength for me and for the things I like to do. Coaching is a great avenue for the highly-sensitive, under-confident and over-achieving folks who are learning to navigate their neuro-divergence in this complicated world.
Fantastic coach!
I'm a highly sensitive, empathic, right-brained, creative solo entrepreneur, and was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. While the diagnosis finally made my life make sense to me in a way it never had, I was still swimming in the kind of doubt and self-judgment that many of us have for being "different." The coaching I did with Jonathan made me feel like I was actually way more than enough and that the things I experienced were normal in the face of a neuro-normal world. I found my sense of confidence in what I DO bring to the world grow, and I had someone to bounce ideas off of when navigating decisions requiring more executive functioning skills. Jonathan truly taught me that I can do things my own way, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. His skills of empathy, intuition, humor, flexibility, and experience made me feel I was in good hands. I most highly recommend Jonathan's unique coaching sessions to any ADHD entrepreneur.
