About this provider
My clients are creative, gifted students and young professionals who are working hard to become the best possible versions of themselves. They come to coaching because, while they refuse to let their ADHD define them, they do have difficulty planning, organizing, prioritizing and developing effective strategies to make the most of their talents. Together we work to tap their strengths and use their own creativity to find effective ways to make room for their gifts.
Imagine a high-school student who is bright and talented, mostly making A’s, who suddenly drops to the bottom of the class because he forget to turn in a paper that he had completed on time.
Think of someone who is in college because she is smart and did well in high school. She loves the freedom and autonomy of the college environment but she is in danger of failing out because she seems physically incapable of devising a schedule or imposing discipline on her life.
Imagine a young professional who has done very well in her first job and has been promoted to a position that includes managerial responsibilities for the first time. She knows she has what it takes to do the work, but she finds herself anxious, overwhelmed and procrastinating in areas that are less interesting to her.
Some of my clients have only recently been diagnosed with ADHD and they are unsure what to do with that information. Coaching is often the missing link—the essential tool that lets you open to your gifts and come from a position of strength. Coaching is a journey of self-discovery that builds resilience, self-awareness and responsibility.
