Description

Many adults with ADHD struggle in their careers. But what if the problem isn't you...what if you’re just in the wrong career or job? As an ADHD career coach for more than 30 years, I have developed a proven process that can help you clarify your passions and skills, so that you can be who you are and love what you do. Your real life’s work starts now.

Does this sound familiar?
You’re delivering brilliant results yet struggle to be recognized or respected by your boss or manager
You know it’s time for a change but have no idea what’s next
You’re smart and capable, but each day at the office feels like tires spinning in mud
You’ve been burned by a string of unfulfilling, uninspiring jobs
You have too many ideas for a new career, and struggle to commit to one path

Whether you’re a 20-something trying to pick a major, a college graduate who is stuck on which direction to take, a chronic job hopper, a mid-life career changer, an executive who’s tired of not being listened to, I can help. Through weekly exercises and coaching calls, I’ll guide you through a process of self-reflection that allows you to recognize and honor your strongest preferences in a number of career-related areas. Together we’ll explore options while uncovering the fields that fascinate you most, including those you thought were beyond reach.

ADHD clients have a unique way of operating in the world. It is not just important that we feel good about our work every day, it is critical. I honor that uniqueness by allowing you to fully express who you are, and will always remind and encourage you to follow your heart versus what others recommend.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

A personal guide and cheerleader to lead you through a process of structured soul searching, comparing you to no one else

Clarity on the best career path for you, including a Personalized Career Plan you can reference the rest of your life

An accountability partner to guide you through your next steps and facilitate a seamless transition

Freedom to explore options without judgement, so you discover the best path for your unique talents and gifts

ABOUT ME

Holding a master’s in counseling with an emphasis on career, I have more than 30 years experience in guiding people to the right line of work. I decided to focus solely on ADHD career coaching in 2010 following my own diagnosis. Working with more than 700 clients in what I call Career Therapy, I help adults with ADHD navigate the often muddied waters of their career or work direction. I am a member of ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), NCDA (National Career Development Association), ACO (ADHD Coaches Association), and serve on the Workplace Committee of ADDA.
