Elizabeth C. Hamblet, M.A.T., M.S.Ed. is the author of From High School to College: Steps to Success for Students With Disabilities. A learning consultant at Columbia University’s Disability Services office, she has worked at the college level for 20 years, after starting her career in the field as a high school special education teacher and case manager.

In addition to working as a college consultant, she gives presentations nationally to professionals and parents about how to prepare students with disabilities for success at college.
