Description
ADHD therapy with me covers both the practical challenges and the emotional layer underneath them. We'll work on the executive functioning, and we'll also figure out what's actually driving the patterns that strategies alone haven't touched.
You've probably spent years figuring out workarounds, some of them pretty good. The systems work until they don't, and when life gets more complex, the strategies that used to hold start to fall apart. Maybe you were recently diagnosed and you're still making sense of what that means. Maybe you've known for a long time and you're just tired of the same advice not quite landing.
ADHD in adults is rarely just about focus. It shows up as exhaustion, emotional intensity, and a lifetime of adapting to a world that wasn't built for how your brain works. The practical challenges are real, and so is the weight that builds up underneath them over time.
I have ADHD myself, which shapes how I work with clients who do too. You won't have to explain yourself from scratch or justify why something that looks simple is actually hard. We'll work on practical strategies that fit how your brain actually works, and we'll also go deeper into the emotional layer: the shame, the self-doubt, and the stories that tend to accumulate when you've spent years feeling like you're falling short of what you should be able to do.
Whether you're recently diagnosed, finally diagnosed after years of wondering, or still figuring out whether ADHD is part of your picture, this is a place to make sense of it and start working with it rather than against it.
