The Adolescent & Family Health Center is a medical practice and therapeutic counseling center that specializes in ADHD, Addiction, and Life Skills, treating all ages for a wide variety of Emotional, Psychological, Behavioral, and Educational Issues.

Dr. Mary Ann Block’s approach is to look for and treat the underlying causes of such health problems as ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, PMS, Ear Infections, Asthma, Fatigue, etc, in children and adults.

We collaborate with our clients to develop tailored strategies that leverage their unique strengths, using psychological insight, science-backed strategies, and practical methods. We work hand-in-hand with every client to adjust their treatment.

While we specialize in child, adolescent and adult attention disorders, we also provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and treatment services for pediatric patients, ADHD, depression, and bipolar disorder.

The Center for Attention and Learning is a unique educational evaluation program for children who are struggling with attention and learning disabilities. We focus primarily on children from low-income families in New York City.

Our ADHD studies are currently enrolling children, adolescents, and adults ages 4-60. All studies include free ADHD evaluation and free study medication.

Treating ADHD means educating both parents and children — on the diagnosis, treatment, how to manage behavior, medication, and school support. Parents participate in a 12-week program, which includes group sessions, in addition to programs for kids.

The Children's Program is a team of experienced clinicians who provide diagnostic, therapeutic and educational services to children, adolescents, and families. We diagnose and treat ADHD.
