Dr. D'Avanzo is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Special areas of interest include asthma, allergy, and ADHD/behavioral issues.

Dr. Abernathy attended the Medical College of Virginia and after receiving his medical degree, he continued there as a Pediatric Intern and then Resident. His special interests now are the operation and the growth of the Better Life Center.
