Dr. Band is the Medical Director and Owner of Sterling Behavioral Health Services.His areas of clinical expertise include ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, school problems, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Dr. Abernathy attended the Medical College of Virginia and after receiving his medical degree, he continued there as a Pediatric Intern and then Resident. His special interests now are the operation and the growth of the Better Life Center.

As a practice we have a particular interest and expertise in treating ADD/ADHD. We are able to offer a range of treatment options including therapy and medication if indicated.
