Referred here for adult ADHD evaluation. Doctor was professional and kind to my face, but this was an act. During the actual test portion of the evaluation I cried twice because of the stress, and in the notes the test admin said that I was "cheerful and relaxed throughout". After the extremely poor job that was done (for nearly $800) I was accused of lying (because I did not fill an anti-anxiety prescription that I did not need or want) and over-explaining. Rather than taking me at my word (since I wasn't seeking drugs but rather clarity and therefore had no reason to lie) and taking time to understand the complex situation I was in, I was stereotyped and mistreated.
